About Us

  Restore, Renew, Equip & Release.

The Lake Charles Vineyard strives to be a church that is Christ-centered, people-focused, and Bible-based. Our fundamental understanding of who God is and what He expects from us comes from the Bible. We believe that the Bible is much more than an instruction book. We believe that the Bible is a relationship book meant to develop our relationship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

By calling ourselves Christians, we center our lives on Jesus the Christ. We believe that He is the incarnate Son of God who gave His life to rebuild our relationship with the Father. He is the unique human-and divine bridge who gives us a new way of life.

People-focused means that people and their spiritual needs are very important to us. We believe that everyone who visits us has been led by God, for a good reason, to be present.

Come As You Are ... It's All About Jesus.

We welcome you to the Vineyard and ask that you make yourself at home. People worship God in different ways and we invite you to join us in the way that helps you worship best.  Nothing    is expected of you.  This is a Celebration Service to thank God for what He's done in our lives.  We usually worship together in song for 30-45 minutes.

Our goal is that worship will be an authentic time with God.  If you feel a tugging on your heart, it's not just a sentimental feeling.  It's God's way of speaking to you.

We invite you to sing, lift your hands, clap,

kneel or dance scriptural expression of worship

to Him. Some may worship with tears, others with times of quiet reflection before God or with occasional out-spoken prayer.

Please feel free to  enter into worship as your heart prompts you.  Enjoy!

Our Church's History.

In January 2000, God placed in the hearts of Kelly & Judy Vigo the desire to plant a Vineyard Church in Lake Charles.  The vision was birthed by a fresh touch of the Holy Spirit on Kelly and Judy at the Brownsville Revival in 1996.  Jackie and Kevin Goodeaux were touched also and shared the vision for the church plant.  All their children joined in and they began meeting and praying as a small group.  David and Susan Pullig and their children joined several weeks later.  As they kept meeting, praying, and worshiping, God began to send others.

In April 2003 the church moved into the new facilities that we are now in.  In just a short time the Lake Charles Vineyard, with God's blessing, has an attendance of 275  at the celebration services each weekend.
